Big Corn Island, Nicaragua

I have been house sitting on Big Corn Island just over 2 weeks now, so far so good, hardly no tourists around, the locals are friendly, mostly speaking Caribbean English, its like a mini Jamaica, you can get your Jamaican style patties from the local bakery, lobsters are cheap and abundant, you can taxi anywhere around the island for less than 1usd. Theres not much to do but enjoy the quiet beaches, snorkelling & diving, rent a golf cart or bicycle, go for cappuccino to the dive shop.

Before Corn island I spent a few days in Managua, the highlight was Masaya Volcano, old school Granada was also looking fine and Apoyo lagoon was ok:
